Check out our guide on mastering Freya revamp in MLBB.
After years of being ignored, Freya is finally getting a revamp of her in-game model and abilities in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. However, you won’t have to worry much about adjusting your playstyle. Her kit remains almost the same, with a slight improvement. She now has a more consistent combo and a decent sustain to survive team fights.
That said, she is not the perfect fighter. You will still need to work around her flaws. To help you out, here is a build guide for the MLBB Fighter hero Freya, including her best items, skills, emblem, combos, and counters.
Skill analysis for Freya revamp in MLBB
Passive: Power of Einherjar
Freya generates Sacred Orbs through her basic attacks, storing a limited number at a time. Using a Sacred Orb grants her a burst of Attack Speed for her next basic strike, and this effect can stack multiple times. Sacred Orbs slowly regenerate whenever she’s out of combat.
Skill 1: Leap of Faith
Freya leaps to a target area and slams her shield into the ground, gaining a substantial shield while dealing Physical Damage to enemies caught in the impact. Affected targets are briefly knocked into the air.
Skill 2: Valkyrie Slash
Freya dashes forward and delivers a slash that deals damage and briefly slows affected enemies. The skill has no fixed cooldown but consumes a couple of Sacred Orbs each time it’s used. It deals reduced damage to creeps.
Ultimate: Valkyrie Descent
Freya marks a target area and descends as a Valkyrie, dealing Physical Damage and applying a noticeable slow to enemies she passes through and those at the landing point. After landing, she enters her Valkyrie state for a short duration, granting her bonus damage on basic attacks, healing with each hit, and allowing her attacks to deal splash damage.
Best Freya revamp item build in MLBB
Here is what our recommended build for Freya revamp in MLBB:

As a jungler, start with basic boots with Ice Retribution. Following this, prioritize getting the Corrosion Scythe for stacking damage with each basic attack before purchasing Tough Boots. Once you get your first two items, get a Sky Piercer to execute low-hp enemies instantly. However, if you are falling behind, skip this item and get War Axe instead.
For your late-game items, purchase an Endless Battle for the true damage. Follow it up with the Malefic Gun for the Physical Penetration effect. Alternatively, you can skip one of the items mentioned with a Sea Halberd to reduce the healing and shield effects on enemies.
Recommended emblem and battle spell for Freya revamp
To complement the item build above, use this Custom Assassin Emblem set:

The first slot can be Thrill for the adaptive attack. It's good for early game farming and lane pressure. If you are up against a tank, switch it with Rupture. The second slot can be Seasonal Hunter if you are playing Jungler for faster camp clearing. Otherwise, go with Weapons Master to get more stats from items. The final slot is Killing Spree for the increased movement speed and extra healing when hitting enemies with attacks.
Easy combo tips to learn
Freya in MLBB likes to get up close and personal with her enemies and consistently performing basic attacks. The problem with that is her very small attack range. This is why you go with Corrosion Scythe to slow down your targets.

Her Skill 2: Valkyrie Slash consumes two Sacred Orbs per cast. At max stacks, this ability can be used three times. Make sure you squeeze in some basic attacks in between casts to regenerate your Sacred Orbs to keep using this skill. These orbs also regenerate when out of combat.
The combo is very straightforward. Dive in with your Ultimate: Valkyrie Descent to slow down enemies hit and deal Basic Attack splash damage. Afterwards, use as many Skill 2: Valkyrie Slash as you can until your target is either dead or out of range. If they start running away, use Skill 1: Leap of Faith to close the gap and spam your Skill 2 again while doing basic attacks in between.

Hero and item counters for Freya revamp
Hero counters
The Freya revamp can be a menace in MLBB, especially when paired with Angela as support. Minsithar can easily disable her mobility, making her entirely useless in team fights. Phoveus is also a good counter-pick as Freya likes to constantly dash to close gaps.
As for the Marksman option, Melissa is the best counter for Freya due to her Ultimate that prevents anyone from getting close. On top of that, this marksman's range is also long enough to chase down Freya when she starts to flee in battle.
Item counters
There is not much you can do to stop Freya once she gets in melee range. Go for Dominance Ice to reduce her attack speed, healing, and shield power. For marksman heroes, Wind of Nature is your best bet to give you brief immunity to Physical Damage.
As for mages, you can go for the Glowing Wand to reduce their healing and shield power. Generally, you will also want to build Immortality, regardless of your role or class, if you struggle against Freya.
That sums up our MLBB build guide for the fighter hero, Freya revamp. If you want to see how she fares with other heroes in the game, check out our updated tier list to decide your next meta picks for every patch update.
