Clash of Clans World Championship 2023 is here with Town Hall 15

With more than a million dollars on the line, players have a lot to fight for this year.

Supercell has pulled the curtains on the Clash of Clans World Championship 2023. The pinnacle of Clash of Clans esports is set to return this year with a year-long competition and $1.15 million on the line.
Clash of Clans esports looks to be on an upward trajectory after the Clash of Clans World Championship 2022 Finals recorded significant growth in viewership. The 2022 Finals recorded a peak viewership that was nearly double the previous edition.

Clash of Clans World Championship 2023: Everything you need to know

The Clash of World Championship 2023 is following a similar format to the previous year. Supercell has tied up with community tournaments to give out Golden Tickets. The team which secures a Golden Ticket will get a slot at the 2023 World Championship Finals.
There are eight Golden Tickets up for grabs throughout the year. Four of these can be earned through community tournaments while the other four will make it through the official Championship Qualifier.
Three of the community tournaments will be hosted by Queso, RUSH.GG, and Clash MSTRS, respectively. The fourth one, on the other hand, will be hosted by a tournament organizer in China. Thus, the Clash of Clans World Championship 2023 Finals will have a Chinese representative fighting for the title as well.
You can stay tuned to the aforementioned community tournament organizer’s social handles to be updated when they host a Golden Ticket event.
Supercell hasn’t revealed the schedule for these tournaments yet.

Town Hall 15 and another LAN event with Clash Royale

An exciting change to the World Championship this year is the addition of Town Hall 15. The latest TH was released back in October 2022 and can now be used in Clash of Clans esports as well.
The Clash of Clans World Championship Finals 2023 will take place as a LAN event. Supercell hasn’t revealed the location of the event but has confirmed that it will take place from Nov. 24 to 26 along with the CRL World Finals. Last year as well, the two Clash games had tied up to host a joint world championship.
A total of eight teams will qualify for the World Championship Finals 2023 to battle it out for the title of world champion.
