The Mobile Legends World Championship wasn’t easy on these teams. But maybe falling to the elimination brackets made them stronger?

One team has already earned a spot in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M6 grand final — Fnatic ONIC PH defeated Team Liquid ID (TLID) in the upper final. The rest in the top 4 should have kind of a Battle Royale session.

Three teams start the tournament day on Dec. 14. Only one survives these Mobile Legends esports matches to clash with FNOP for the World Champions title.

Selangor Red Giants (SRG) and Team Spirit (TS) play in the lower semifinal. One team leaves the MLBB esports tournament, and the winners advance to the lower final and face TLID. All the details of these M6 matches are here: the stream, lists of heroes, game recaps, and final results.

Selangor Red Giants and Team Spirit: Match recap

One team fully dominated the MLBB M6 lower semifinal in SRG vs TS. And they are the hometown heroes.

SRG were unstoppable. In Game 1, they smashed their opponents so hard that it felt like there was no way for TS to recover. In Game 2, TS was close to revenge in a late battle, but it turned out to be just an illusion. SRG struck back to seal the deal.

Game 3 started evenly, but again, it was just a matter of time for SRG to deliver their killing blow.

SRG advance to the lower final to face TLID. Would this momentum help them reach the MLBB M6 grand final?

Game 1

SRG started the series against TS with quite a few excellent kills. SRG went ahead with gold as well.

TS managed to secure the first Turtle, but after that, the game just fell out of their hands. The SRG players were simply great at team fights! They attacked bravely and delivered even an early wipe out. The gold advantage reached 12,000 gold at around 10 minutes.

After taking down almost all turrets of TS and a short reset, SRG went for the Lord. That siege was enough to leave the base of TS in ruins.

Game 2

TS gave a decent response to the early aggression of SRG, but SRG had a continuation. They secured the first Turtle and won an important fight around it. SRG started delivering kills after that. When the first Lord spawned, TS just could not interfere — SRG secured the objective and started their first siege.

TS lost all the outer turrets, and one on the base had just a pixel of health. When the TS players tried to ambush their opponents, they ended up with deaths on their side, and SRG could get the second Lord for free.

SRG invaded the jungles of TS to strengthen their advantage even further. SRG were brave but without overstepping.

Still, TS were patient. Thanks to great positioning, they won a fight around the third Lord and wiped out the entire team of SRG. The gold difference disappeared.

That siege attempt by TS failed totally. SRG destroyed their opponents. The Malaysian team then reached match point.

Game 3

This game started with kill trades. The back-and-forth action changed drastically after a fight around the first Turtle. Suddenly, SRG found some mind-blowing kills and made their advantage just solid at around minute 9.

TS lost the first Lord, but at least they got a couple of kills. The TS players demonstrated miracles of defense, as they got another kill in that siege by SRG.

SRG waited for the second Lord to spawn — and they secured this objective without any resistance from their opponents. There was no way for TS to survive in this game and this match.

Team Liquid ID vs SRG: Match recap

This was another match with a dominant win, but this time, SRG became victims of a sweep.

In the beginning, TLID faced decent resistance. Game 1 was close and could go both ways. In Game 2, SRG even had an early advantage. However, it still evaporated disturbingly quickly.

Game 3 demonstrated the full power of TLID. They just destroyed their opponents with no chance for another outcome.

SRG got eliminated from the MLBB M6 World Championship.

Game 1

Both TLID and SRG started this series cautiously. Game 1 unrolled itself slowly, with little kills and equal gold.

Around minute 9, TLID won a team fight and got their small advantage. With some casualties on their side, TLID secured the first Lord. The following fight was chaotic, but SRG managed to stand their ground this time.

The second Lord on the TLID side reached the mid Inhibitor turret, but couldn’t take it down. TLID found good kills here and there, and they earned a 3,000 gold advantage. In another close fight, they got themselves the third Lord.

SRG were brilliant at defense, but they still lost crucial turrets: only two kept standing on the base, and they were severely damaged.

Around the fourth Lord, SRG managed to deny the advantage of their opponents. They won the fight and got the key objective. But that siege turned out to be absolutely disastrous for SRG.

Not only did TLID stop the attackers, but they also killed four opponents, started their offense in response, and destroyed the base of SRG. It’s one point for TLID in the lower final at the MLBB esports M6 World Championship.

Game 2

The game started so promisingly for SRG. They were winning fights and accumulating gold. It looked like TLID just had no response. That was an illusion.

One massive clash changed that all! Four SRG players were down, and TLID went ahead. TLID suddenly were unstoppable! They got the Lord and destroyed two Inhibitor turrets.

TLID controlled the map confidently, waiting for the next big objective. SRG still had something to say in this game. TLID got themselves the second Lord, but SRG killed three opponents in that fight.

When the next Lord spawned, TLID went for active offense. They focused on opponents more than on the objective, and that was a good decision. TLID chased the remnants of SRG till their base, and they just destroyed it.

TLID reached the match point. They need one more game to advance to the M6 grand final and face Fnatic ONIC PH.

Game 3

TLID quickly earned a gold advantage in Game 3, even if SRG had one kill more on their account. TLID decided to eliminate that kill obstacle, though. In the blink of an eye, TLID had three kills and 7,000 more gold.

It looked like SRG were losing it inevitably. Even with good positioning, they couldn't do anything in the fights. Their heroes were dying, and their turrets were falling down. The golden road ended here for SRG.

TLID marched to the base of their opponents, and they opened the door to the grand final.
