Mission: Galaxy brings CoD Mobile LAN event in NA with top creators

Top creators will showdown in a CoD Mobile LAN for a share of the $15,000 prize pool.

North America’s mobile-focused esports organization Tribe Gaming is partnering with Samsung for a live event in Las Vegas featuring 10 of the region’s top content creators. The Mission: Galaxy is a $15,000 event which will put mobile gaming creators in an epic showdown in Call of Duty: Mobile to determine the winner. Fans can watch it live on March 6 at 2pm PT onwards.

Mission: Galaxy, here is everything you need to know about the Tribe x Samsung event

Each team consists of eight creators from across the mobile gaming space and two professional CoD Mobile players. The CoD Mobile players will be the coach of each team. The squads are as follows:

The teams aren’t just fighting for the bragging rights but also for a share of the $15,000 prize pool. To win it, they will compete across four rounds.

Each round of the Mission: Galaxy will consist of four one-versus-ones. These one-versus-ones will be a best-of-three and the first player to 10 kills will win the match. The team which wins more rounds will achieve victory.

If the score remains a tie at the end, the coaches will fight off in a head-to-head to decide the winner. The $15,000 prize pool of the Mission: Galaxy will be split as follows:

  • Rounds one to three: Each match win will reward $250. The team which wins the round, on the other hand, will pocket $1,500.
  • Round four: Each match win will reward $750. The team which clutches the round will get $4,500.

The fans who want to catch the action can do so live on the Tribe Gaming YouTube and Twitch channels on March 6 from 2pm PT onwards.

Samsung is doing multiple events to promote its new smartphone

Samsung recently released its new Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Thus, the company has been looking to promote it with gaming events like the Mission: Galaxy. Tribe and Samsung have a long-running partnership with the org unveiling the partnership with the smartphone manufacturer back in September 2022.

Besides the Mission: Galaxy, Samsung has also tied up with PUBG Mobile for another gaming event. The Galaxy Battles: PUBG Mobile Showdown is an open-for-all event, the registrations for which are currently open.

It will also culminate into a LAN event, which will take place on March 22 in Dallas, Texas. The event has a total prize pool of $20,000.
