Ancient of War's talents in this mobile game include Sapling, Behemoth, and Lightning Rod. Meanwhile, his attack is Punch, which is simply a single-target melee move.

In terms of Ancient of War traits, they include Surge, Tank, and Armored. Surge, in particular, is a new trait that consumes a player's remaining gold upon deployment.

This troop is a tank that can be useful for either a strong push or defense. It's also a good counter for Unbound units and spells thanks to the Lightning Rod talent. Meanwhile, senior game designer Brendan Farrell also emphasized how Ancient of War is a flexible melee unit with a variable gold cost.

"He'll use all of your current gold when deployed, but for each gold he uses, he gets bigger, healthier, and stronger," Farrell said. "He can be anything between a little dude and a towering giant."

As for obtaining Ancient of War in the game, you can do so during the Cenarion Summer Festival. This event was supposed to happen at the starting week of Season 7, but it got delayed.

"Cenarion family week will now start for the first time on July 28 instead of July 14," Blizzard stated. The post also noted that while leader units Cenarius and Onu will be available in the G.R.I.D during the same week, the new Cenarion troops — including Ancient of War — will not be available in the G.R.I.D until Season 8.
