Which animal does your favorite character turn into?

Mortal Kombat 1 is finally bringing back the beloved Animalities for the first time since Mortal Kombat: Trilogy 28 years ago. These unique finishing moves depict each character transforming into an animal before creatively eviscerating the opponent. The various Khaos Reigns trailers have provided brief looks at what certain fighters will become, and we have compiled a list of the ones we have identified thus far.

Perhaps the most impactful Animality thus far is Noob Saibot's, who splits into a pair of crocodiles to reenact his infamous "Make A Wish" Fatality from Mortal Kombat 9. Other notables include Sub-Zero becoming a Wooly Mammoth and Liu Kang becoming a Phoenix.

Anyone interested in purchasing the Khaos Reigns characters, including Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot, Ghostface, T-1000, and Conan, alongside the story expansion can expect to pay $49.99. However, if you only want to enjoy the Animalities in Mortal Kombat 1, they are available at no additional charge. It's a nice perk for players who are not so eager to see what else Khaos Reigns has to offer.

Animalities will debut in the game when the MK1 expansion launches on Sept. 24, so be on the lookout for a sizable update. We expect to learn more about what animal each character will transform into over the coming days and post-launch.
