Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 2 leaks explained: Six new fighters, two arenas, and more

The video above via YouTuber Interloko confirms six previously expected characters for Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 2. Initial leaks began in September, not long after MK1's worldwide launch. Leakers began to suspect that, based on data-mined dialogue, Ghostface from the Scream series, the T-1000 Terminator, and Conan The Barbarian were among the characters expected to join the MK1 roster.

Ghostface has been a topic of discussion since Mortal Kombat 1 dropped, with many believing the character would be available as DLC. A recent Mileena announcer leak provided further confirmation, so it's highly likely that this guest appearance is in the works.

Interloko's video has confirmed that these three characters will become playable, presumably in Kombat Pack 2. However, that's not all, as three fan-favorite Mortal Kombat characters will also join the roster. Those fighters include cyber ninjas Cyrax and Sektor alongside the wraith Noob Saibot.

While Cyrax and Sektor are already Kameos in the game, Interloko's video confirms they will become primary characters. It's also worth noting that a model recently leaked that Harumi Hasahi is coming to the game sometime in the future.

What Arenas and Announcers are coming to MK1?

The rest of the details are a bit murky based on Interloko's video. He states that two stages and five announcers are included in the Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 2 files, but he could not discern what they were. However, with an official announcement imminent, we expect to hear more information directly from NRS soon.
