The Overwatch 2 Cosmic Crisis event is here! This is a limited-time game mode that requires your team to fight against Null Sector's units and escape the ruined Ecopoint: Antarctica map. Completing the mission on varying difficulties results in some in-game items. Therefore, here's the list of every Overwatch 2 Cosmic Crisis reward and challenge!
All Overwatch 2 Cosmic Crisis rewards
- Complete 12 Cosmic Crisis challenges: Cosmic Ravager name card, 5,000 Battle Pass XP
- Win all Cosmic Crisis modifiers: Cosmic Ravager player title
- Win Cosmic Crisis on any difficulty: Cosmic Ravager spray, 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- Win Cosmic Crisis on hard difficulty: Cosmic Ravager player icon, 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- Win Cosmic Crisis on expert difficulty: Mysteries of Creation Moira voice line
- Win Cosmic Crisis on legendary difficulty: Crisis Survivor player title
- Win Cosmic Crisis: Death from Above: Cosmic Snack spray

- Win Cosmic Crisis after a teammate betrays you: Wandering Off Illari voice line
- Dismember three limbs on a Charger before destroying it: Gross Roadhog voice line
- Complete 10 games. Wins grant double progress: 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- Complete 20 games. Wins grant double progress: 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- Complete 30 games. Wins grant double progress: 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- Complete 40 games. Wins grant double progress: Ravager Sushi weapon charm, 2,500 Battle Pass XP
In addition to some Battle Pass XP to help you progress through the Season 9 Battle Pass faster, completing the above challenges results in new voice lines, sprays, player titles, and a new player icon.
All Overwatch 2 Cosmic Crisis challenges and strategies
You can strategize a bit by completing a few challenges at once as well. For example, if one of your teammates betrays everyone and the rest of your team completes the mission, then you'll get the Wandering Off Illari voice line.
It's also possible to select a difficulty level before jumping into the Overwatch 2 Cosmic Crisis event. This can be helpful if you wish to familiarize yourself with the mechanics and most efficient routes before entering legendary mode. In addition to legendary, the difficulties are normal, hard, and expert.
