In the Overwatch universe, Freja hails from Denmark. She used to be a great search and rescue operative. However, when Overwatch broke up, she dedicated her abilities to bounty hunting.

As for Freja abilities, we know that she can put her "explosive crossbow" to use. Players can also expect her to require precision and a steady aim. Her Revdraw Crossbow unleashes rapid-fire bolts while Take Aim fires a high-speed explosive bolt. Meanwhile, Quick Dash reloads the explosive bolt. Updraft launches Freja up in the air. Finally, Bola Shot wraps up opponents and pulls their teammates in.

According to Blizzard, Freja will officially join the Overwatch 2 roster in Season 16. However, there will be a free trial weekend later in Season 15.
Overwatch 2 Aqua reveal
During the Overwatch 2 Spotlight event, senior narrative designer Jude Stacey also gave everyone a sneak peek at hero 44 for Season 18. His codename is Aqua!
"You probably want to know who the Season 18 hero will be," Stacey said. "I think it's fitting to give you a sneak peek at hero 44. Codenamed Aqua, this Chinese water wielder has one of the most unique ability sets that we have ever developed. You will learn more about him later this year."
