Kiriko’s clone gets major nerf in latest Overwatch 2 Stadium patch

This Overwatch 2 Stadium patch includes Kiriko and Juno nerfs. It also buffs D.Va, Junkrat, and Mei.

New week, new Overwatch 2 update. This time, the patch notes mainly pertain to the Stadium game mode. The July 8 Overwatch 2 Stadium patch notes feature nerfs to Kiriko and Juno, Junkrat, D.Va, buffs, and more.

Overwatch 2 Stadium nerfs Kiriko and Juno

According to the developers, Kiriko's Clone Conjuration Power got nerfed so it can become more of a utility and decoy tool. This change aims to make the support hero feel more fair to play against. Kiriko's clone now deals 65% less healing and damage.

  • Clone Conjuration - Power
    • Clone now deals 65% less healing and damage.
    • Increased duration to 4s (up from 2.5s).

In terms of other support heroes, Juno received a nerf as well. Her high survivability and ring build made her difficult to play against. The developers even called her a "flying Tracer" prior to this update.

  • Hyper Healer - Power
    • Decreased Overhealth to 75 (down from 100).

Meanwhile, Ana gets multiple adjustments to further empower her teammates. For example, the developers buffed her Biotic Grenade to achieve this.

  • Our Turn - Power
    • Decreased duration reduction to 25% (down from 50%).
  • My Turn - Power
    • Increased self [Nano Boost] duration to 100% (up from 50%).
  • Your Full Potential - Power
    • Increased ultimate charge given to 35% (up from 25%).
  • Time Out - Power
    • Increased slow duration to 2.5s (up from 1.5s).
  • Venomous - Power
    • Increased damage to 75 (up from 50).

As for Zenyatta, he received changes to encourage folks to heal more while playing as him.

  • Dual Harmony - Power
    • Decreased healing reduction to 40% (down from 45%).
  • Gotta Have Faith - Power
    • Increased orb duration to 10s (up from 5s).
  • Soul Control - Power
    • Increased ultimate meter cap to 75% (up from 65%).

Overwatch 2 Stadium patch notes: July 8, 2025

Damage heroes Junkrat and Mei, meanwhile, received buffs. The same goes for D.Va as the only tank with changes in the latest Overwatch 2 Stadium patch notes.

According to the developers, D.Va's Tokki Slam was originally nerfed because of its disruptive potential. However, the nerf was too much. Therefore, this Power deals increased damage now.

  • Tokki Slam - Power
    • Increased Tokki Slam's damage scalar to 30% (up from 20%).

As for Junkrat, he received an economy buff that synergizes well with his Hop Boom and Rainin' Lead Powers plus Lithium Alloy and awkes' Funny Fuel™ Stadium Hero Items.

  • Stadium Cash
    • Increased cash income from damage and healing by 11.11%.
  • It's A(Nother) Trap - Power
    • Fixed an issue where using Steel Trap while you had 1 charge would also consume the recharging charge.
  • Hop Boom - Powerh
    • Now deals 30% reduced damage (up from 50% reduced).
  • Rainin' Lead - Power
    • Frequency increased to every 0.3s (up from 0.4s).
  • Lithium Alloy - Epic Ability Hero Item
    • Burn damage increased to 75 (up from 50).
  • Fawkes' Funny Fuel™- Epic Ability Hero Item
    • Ability Power increased to 15% (up from 10%).
    • Ability Lifesteal increased to 15% (up from 10%).

Finally, Mei has improved mobility now since Snowball Flight can synergize well with Twice as Ice.

  • Twice As Nice - Power
    • Twice As Ice also resets next Snowball Flight's cooldown.
