The latest Overwatch 2 Season 18 patch notes have arrived, and this time, they include buffs and nerfs to multiple heroes. Read on for all of today's Overwatch 2 patch notes and details.

Overwatch 2 patch notes today: September 16
Tanks
In terms of tank heroes, Ramattra received an armor buff to his Nemesis Form while Roadhog's weapon received a multiplier increase. The resource regeneration rate of Roadhog's Take a Breather also went up. As for Hazard, he received nerfs to both Spike Guard and Violent Leap. Wrecking Ball, meanwhile, got nerfed in terms of his primary fire's ammo and his ultimate's mine duration.

As for the damage heroes, Ramattra would be pleased to know that Genji got nerfed. The younger Shimada's Deflect ability had its cooldown increased. Meanwhile, Genji's brother received an update in terms of the projectile size of his Storm Arrows. Next, the cost of Tracer's perks increased by 25%. As for the other damage heroes, Torbjorn and Widowmaker both received buffs.

Overwatch 2 Season 18 patch notes: Support heroes
Finally, only Brigitte, Lucio, and Wuyang received updates in today's Overwatch 2 patch notes. The update buffed Brigitte's Shield Bash, nerfed Lucio's primary fire, and nerfed Wuyang's Rushing Torrent plus Guardian Wave.
In addition to the patch notes for regular Overwatch 2, the title's Stadium game mode had a bunch of changes as well. The full details for that can be accessed via Blizzard Entertainment's official website.
As for in-game events, the Sept. 16 patch introduced players to the Phantom Thieves and the Anniversary 2025 ones.
