Overwatch 2 Hero Mastery Gauntlet game mode explained
Hero Mastery Gauntlet is a cooperative game mode that requires three players to enter the fray. Your goal is to defend three towers from 10 waves of enemies. You can also collect energy from enemies, buy upgrades, and collect emblems throughout the match. Make sure to avoid the yellow platforms as they're traps! Additionally, use the blue platforms for fast travel.
Overwatch 2 Hero Mastery Gauntlet guide
To get started, assemble a team of three players. There must be one tank, one DPS, and one support player. Next, get ready for battle waves and waves of training bots. These waves are timed and there is a short period of rest between them, so head to the next tower location and upgrade your towers or turrets whenever you can safely do so. Press "F" to upgrade to your towers or hold "F" to re-roll your tower's upgrades.
In addition to normal attack bots, other bots include ones that have a shield, explode, heal, launch grenades, and snipe from a distance. Note that the exploding bots and their elite variations should be one of your top priorities — especially when they're rushing your towers. Additionally, once you reach wave 10, you must defend all three towers! Torbjorn also appears in this wave.
