Overwatch 2 Season 20 mid-season download
The pre-download for Overwatch 2's Season 20 mid-season update is now available ahead of the Jan. 8 release date. Senior community and creator manager Megan Leigh confirmed this on social media, adding that this update aims to reduce Overwatch 2's overall file size moving forward.
PlayStation and Xbox players may see a pre-download become available ahead of launch to speed up installation. Additionally, any temporary storage issues caused by the pre-download will be resolved once the update goes live.
"Heads up friends! We have our S20 midseason hitting on Thursday 1/8!" Leigh wrote on X. "Want you all to know, this is a rebase patch which means [it's] a large update."
