Hero 45 hints, rumors, and clues
As far as Overwatch 2 goes, the 2025 roadmap for the game is looking extremely packed, with new game modes, new heroes, and a lot of exciting features set for the future. Although the game has an excellent roster of heroes to choose from, Blizzard is constantly adding more options for players. With Season 16 we will have Freja – while Season 18 will bring us Aqua. However, hints have emerged about Hero 45, a currently nameless sword-user.

Overwatch 2's game director, Aaron Keller, hinted that during the Spotlight event there was a teaser towards Hero 45. Following that, the internet sleuths were at it again and found evidence of an interesting detail. Many noticed a chibi drawing of a long-haired character holding a large sword. With that said, we do not have any confirmation (or denial) of it.
For now, we have a few hints and images to go on, but Hero 45 is bound to be a welcome addition to the roster. While we are still awaiting more details about Freja and Aqua, we will probably have to wait some time before Hero 45 gets more attention.
