Don't get it confused, Alpha Charizard is very different than the one you can already get in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, as it has much better stats and is much larger. In fact, Alpha Charizard, specifically the one given to you through the game's Mystery Gift, has guaranteed IVs, a unique moveset and a different special ability.
Alpha Charizard is an absolute beast and not a Pokémon you want to be battling. So, how do you get it for free with the Mystery Gift?
Follow the steps below to get the Alpha Charizard in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
Step 1: Connect to Wi-Fi
To claim the Alpha Charizard in Pokémon Legends: Z-A through Mystery Gifts, you first must be connected to the internet. This may be tough for some if they are not anywhere near Wi-Fi. However, if you do have Wi-Fi, go to the internet settings on your Switch and connect to it.
This can be done on both the Switch and Switch 2.
Step 2: Open Mystery Gifts
Next, you will need to open Mystery Gifts, which will be in your game. When opening up the menu in Pokémon, select Link Play and then Mystery Gift. From there, you will need to select the Via Code option.
Step 3: Enter Code
Then, all you need to do is insert the code, "B1G0006," and you will be given Alpha Charizard through the Mystery Gift.
Alpha Charizard is extremely powerful and sort of a cheat code for those who get him early on in their Pokémon Legends: Z-A playthrough. Now imagine Mega Alpha Charizard. That's a force to be reckoned with.
