The Freeze for All is a Winter Showdown event that brings together the joy of holidays and the freezing winter to all players in Rainbow Six Siege. The event will run for several weeks coming to an end in early January 2025.

The Freeze for All Event takes place in the Hereford Base Map, albeit a very winterized version of the map. There’s snow everywhere right from the walls to the mountains, and truly embodies the holiday spirit of the event.

The event is an eight-operator face-off in a fast-paced free-for-all battle where every player is an opponent. The Deathmatch style game mode has infinite respawns allowing players to enjoy the game for the entire duration of the match. The way for players to win the game is to reach 40 kills and the first to reach the threshold wins the game.

There is also a Frozen Souls mechanic that is a part of this year’s event. The Frozen Souls mechanic allows players to collect extra points and get to the finish line faster. Every player that you eliminate drops a Frozen soul. You can collect these Frozen souls to earn extra points - and remember - the first one to reach 40 points wins the game.

Earlier last week, Ubisoft announced new cosmetic bundles for Azami and Lion. The two operators received Major Motoko Kusanagi and Batou-inspired bundles that add more variety and customization options to Rainbow Six Siege. Besides these new cosmetics, there are also special limited-time bundles for Thermite, MIra, and Finka. The bundles include uniforms, headgear, weapon skins, and more.

Each of the three new bundles is available for 1,680 R6 credits while the enhanced variant bundles have their reduced price cost of 1,200 R6 credits. The collection packs are also available for 300 R6 Credits.

Players can also get one collection pack for free during the event and a full bundle for Frost when completing weekly challenges. Overall, there’s a lot for everyone, right from the free prizes to the paid ones.

The Freezing theme of the event adds to the winter charm of the holidays that players will undoubtedly enjoy. While competition remains tough, it is on a different level and players will have fun eliminating everyone and anyone they lay their eyes on.

The Freeze for All Permafrost event continues all the way up to January 6, 2025 - early next year.
