Want to make your garden even cooler and more profitable? Go get the Plasma mutation!

The Plasma mutation in Grow a Garden is one of the rarest and hardest mutations to obtain. If you don’t know anything about the Plasma mutation yet, we'll tell you everything you need to know so you can increase the odds of you getting it!

With the recent updates in the game, it’s now possible to witness more weather systems thanks to the admin adding more features and options for players to make their garden as colorful as ever with various types of mutations.

Lately, players have shown particular interest in the Plasma Mutation, which gives afflicted crops an eye-catching neon pink color — and drive up their price!

To have at least one of your crops get the Plasma Mutation, you need to wait for an admin weather system called the Lazer Storm. During this event, Grow a Garden’s creator, Jandel, will appear as a giant monkey and his eyes will emit lasers. Any garden he sets his eyes on has a chance for its crops to undergo Plasma Mutation.

Jandel’s position will be right behind the Pet Eggs Shop, so the best positions for your garden are the middle row or the first row of lots close to the said shop. Keep in mind that Jandel can still look anywhere on the map, so luck remains a key factor here!

What’s even trickier is that there are currently seven admin weather systems in the game, and it's entirely up to the admin to decide when to trigger the Lazer Storm. If you really want the Plasma mutation for your crops, you'll have to be online in Grow a Garden as often and long as possible.

Once the admin is online, he will begin sending system-wide messages. When this happens, all servers will be affected by a random admin weather system. Witnessing the Lazer Storm event might take some time, but if you check on your garden regularly, there's a good chance you'll eventually see it in action.

What does the Plasma Mutation do?

If Jandel targets your garden with his lasers, your crops can undergo Plasma Mutation, granting them a 5x multiplier to their selling value and changing their color to neon pink. Such a mutation is extremely useful if you want to increase the value of your most expensive crops.

The Plasma Mutation also adds a vibrant new tone to your garden. However, if you're focused purely on aesthetics, there are other mutations worth checking out, like Rainbow, Shocked, and Disco.
