Big Bird made history in Paris, France by becoming a two-time champion of Red Bull Kumite!
Adel “Big Bird” Anouche won the Red Bull Kumite World Final 2025 event! This achievement marked the second time he took home the gold at Red Bull Kumite. The player previously claimed victory in 2023.

Big Bird wins Red Bull Kumite 2025
Between April 5 and April 6, the top Street Fighter 6 players duked it out in Paris, France. At stake was the lion's share of the €50,000 EUR prize pool and the 2025 Red Bull Kumite trophy.
After going 5-2 in Round 1 against Team Falcons' Maivine "Kusanagi" Touitou, Big Bird advanced to the quarterfinals and won 5-3 against Karmine Corp's Kilyan "Kilzyou" Faucheux.
He then faced none other than Saul "MenaRD" Mena, who, at the time, was the defending champion. Big Bird went 5-3 against him before fighting EndingWalker's Ryu in the grand final. There, Big Bird went 5-3 with Rashid against EndingWalker's Ryu.

"Thank you so much, everyone," Big Bird said after receiving this year's trophy. "I hope you all enjoyed the show. I'm happy to be at Red Bull Kumite again. It's one of my favorite events and I'm happy to have won it again. Thank you guys so much."
The player also celebrated the result on social media, noting he is now a two-time champion with two specific Street Fighter 6 characters. "One with Marisa, one with Rashid. Blessed to add another trophy to my resume!" he wrote.
Amjad "AngryBird" Al-Shalabi, who trained alongside Big Bird for this tournament, congratulated the player on social media as well. He wrote that Big Bird "is the best player in the universe" and that when the player is in the zone, he's untouchable. AngryBird added that he's proud to be his training partner.
As noted, this victory marked Big Bird's second Red Bull Kumite World Final win, placing him alongside Atsushi “Fujimura” Fujimura as the only players to win two Red Bull Kumite titles.
