Evo Japan 2024 has revealed more details about Akuma in Street Fighter 6! Read on for the Street Fighter 6 Akuma release date, gameplay trailer, and move list.
Street Fighter 6 Akuma release date
Akuma will join the Street Fighter 6 roster on May 22, 2024. He will be a DLC character joining Rashid, A.K.I., and Ed.
"Bow down to the legend or be consumed by the demon," the official Street Fighter 6 social media page stated. "Akuma will unleash his rage on foes worthy enough to face him in #StreetFighter6 on May 22!"

Here is the official gameplay trailer for Akuma. In terms of his moves, they will include ones such as Gou Hadoken, Ashura Senku, Adamant Flame, Messatsu Gohado, Empyrean’s End, Sip of Calamity, abd Shun Goku Satsu.

How to unlock Akuma in Street Fighter 6
"Owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition or the Year 1 Character Pass and Ultimate Pass of Street Fighter 6 will obtain Akuma when he releases," according to the teaser trailer for Akuma revealed back in March 2024.
