It feels pretty great to start with the Final Fantasy XVI items from the TEKKEN 8 Shop and then shift toward Clive Rosfield.

This is the first big collaboration coming to TEKKEN 8, and the Final Fantasy fans should expect a character from the latest installment joining the game pretty soon.

Sure, Clive Rosfield is not Tifa, but he also is a nice fighter, with some Miguel vibes. And with the Final Fantasy XVI items, you can recreate the appearances of two other characters.

Final Fantasy XVI items in TEKKEN 8: Two sets of items

TEKKEN 8 offers two collaboration packs. They include character customization items, Avatar skins, and TEKKEN balls.

The Final Fantasy XVI packs were revealed right after TEKKEN 8 won The Best Fighting Game of 2024 award.

Joshua Rosfield: TEKKEN 8 items

The hero from Final Fantasy XVI jumps into TEKKEN 8 fights as a costume for the entire roster. The Joshua Rosfield collaboration pack includes these items.

  • Undying Red — A costume that copies the outfit of Joshua Rosfield
  • Undying Red (Unarmed) — The same set but without the sword
  • Nectar the Bold — A simply wonderful character customization item; the creature is flying around your fighter
  • Red Bomb King — A TEKKEN ball

When does TEKKEN 8 get Final Fantasy XVI items?

The Final Fantasy collaboration packs are available in TEKKEN 8 with the Dec. 17 update. Head to the game's shop to check the offers.

TEKKEN 8 informs players of the addition of new items right after you launch the game, so it is unlikely you will miss the Final Fantasy XVI items.

Are the Final Fantasy XVI items worth it?

On the one hand, the TEKKEN 8 Final Fantasy XVI collaboration packs are great. The costumes recreate the appearance of well-known characters. Nectar the Bold is such a sweet creature!

On the other hand, it’s easy for TEKKEN players to expect more from the offers. The opportunities are almost endless with Final Fantasy, but we get only two costumes.

Additionally, 500 TEKKEN Coins is $5 in one bundle. It feels like only hardcore fans of Final Fantasy would consider this purchase worthy. If you don’t know the characters or don’t care about them, buying these packs makes no sense at all.

Some awesome items also join the TEKKEN 8 collection with the next Fight Pass. It is themed around the game’s 30th anniversary. Stick around on esports.gg for all TEKKEN 8 news and updates.
