Tekken 8 Game Director Harada is giving out in-game rewards if you can defeat his special Ghost in the Tekken 8 Fight Lounge.
If you booted up Tekken 8 after the version 1.09 update you will have receive a pop up about a "special Ghost", which is none other than Harada. The ghost brings in-game rewards if you beat it, so it's definitely worth it.
A special ghost has appeared in the Tekken Fight Lounge! Beat them in a Ghost Battle to receive items. You can try the battle as many times as you want. Some battles will only be available for a limited time.
As the majority of Tekken 8 players do not use Fight Lounge. The special Ghost is likely an initiative to try to get people to visit it more often. Free items is a brilliant way to get players to do so!
The Special Ghost can be found in the same area as the product activation area called the Iron Fist Outfitters which was used during the Tekken x UNIQLO partnership. Read on to find the exact location of the special Ghost, how to beat it and what the rewards are.
Where is the "special Ghost" in Tekken 8 Fight Lounge?
The first special Ghost is Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken 8's Game Director, who can be found in the Entrance area of the Tekken 8 Fight Lounge. Talk to him to begin a Ghost Battle against him. You'll face a Harada-themed Heihachi customized to look like the man himself, fit with the iconic Harada sunglasses which he always wears.
How to find the special Ghost Harada in Tekken 8 v1.09 for free rewards:
- Enter Tekken Fight Lounge via the Main Menu
- Pick the "Entrance" Area (South of the Map)
- Look for the giant ARCADE sign
- Challenge the "special Ghost" Harada below it
You can attempt as many times as you wish. Once you beat special Ghost Harada you will receive a "Treasure Box". The Treasure Box is automatically opened after you beat Harada and the rewards are all in celebration of the Tekken franchise's 30 Year Anniversary.

Heihachi Fight Lounge Ghost Battle & Rewards
The second special Ghost is Heihachi who can be found in front of the Arcade, but will only be for a limited time. Interact with to start a Battle. Although the Heihachi opponent is 25 Dan (Tekken King), he's very easy to defeat as long as you play on the offensive. I'm Mighty Ruler and I beat him on the first try but lost one round for playing too defensively.
Rewards
These are the five rewards for beating special Ghost Heihachi
- Seiryu Mask
- Sazaku Mask
- Tekken Monk Robe
- Tekken Monk Staff
- Tekken Monk Conical Hat
All five of the items are for the Accessory Slot in Character Customization and can used on all characters. The cosmetics were all masks or clothing that Heihachi wore during Heihachi's character reveal trailer.
