Tekken 8 UNIQLO collaboration features free Tekken Shop items

Tekken 8 has revealed that it will get a UNIQLO collaboration! UNIQLO is a Japanese casual wear designer and a subsidiary Fast Retailing. Read on for the Tekken 8 UNIQLO collaboration details and how to get some free items in the game itself!

An official livestream on Feb. 20 revealed the Tekken 8 UNIQLO collaboration. This collection will feature t-shirt designs with iconic characters from the game. The game's marketing producer, for example, wore a t-shirt featuring King while the rest of the panel showed off some more designs such as the logos throughout the Tekken franchise.

Tekken 8 and UNIQLO will also be featured through an in-game collection. This in-game aspect will involve free items, including two t-shirts for characters and one t-shirt for avatars.

Players will be able to get these free items in the Tekken 8 Fight Lounge. Simply enter the Fight Lounge with your avatar and go up to the UNIQLO service desk! For UNIQLO shoppers, this Tekken Shop is quite reminiscent of a UNIQLO store in real life.

"So as you know, we're going to be doing a collaboration with UNIQLO. In-game as well. As you can see, the t-shirts Yasuda and I have on — y'know, the King one that's in the artwork itself. And Nakatsu and Harada-san actually have different t-shirts as well. Part of the collaborations. So all these will also be in-game," Tekken 8 producer Michael Murray said.

The Tekken UNIQLO collection will be purchasable in UNIQLO stores around the world, according Murray. The release date will depend on your location. Therefore, he advised fans to check their local stores for details. In Japan, however, the release will likely be this month.
