100 Thieves is your Mid-Season champion for VCT Americas 2024 Stage 1, after sweeping G2 Esports in the Grand Final.

Stage 1 of the 2024 VCT is official over. VCT Americas was the last to finish up, and it ended with 100 Thieves taking on G2 Esports in the Grand Final of the playoff bracket.

Both teams will represent the league at Masters Shanghai, but 100 Thieves comes out as the higher seed. That gives them the advantage of skipping the Swiss Stage and choosing their opponent after it.

As you can see, 100T swept G2. The team looked utterly dominated throughout the series, not letting G2 reach double digits in any of the three maps.

They put together round after round, with their star players stepping up when they needed them the most. This is the first championship victory of any kind in official VALORANT competition for 100 Thieves since First Strike.

They can now stake their claim as the VCT Americas 2024 Stage 1 Champions. The momentum is all theirs heading into Masters Shanghai, with a chance to reverse all of the misfortunes that has followed the org in VALORANT for the last few years.

VCT Americas teams at Masters Shanghai

Although 100 Thieves took the first seed in VCT Americas, they won't be alone at Masters Shanghai. They'll be joined by G2 Esports and Leviatán.

Both 100T and G2 fought to the Grand Final from the Knockout Round. LEV lost to 100T in the Upper Semifinals, then bested KRÜ Esports to secure their play in the Lower Final and at Masters Shanghai.

Congratulations to all three teams, and stay tuned to esports.gg for more VALORANT coverage.
