In an esports-filled weekend, 100T and SEN went out across two titles, with both teams getting a victory over the other.
It is rare that there are cross-sport rivalries in traditional sports. In esports, though, they're becoming much more common with orgs competing in multiple games. Take 100 Thieves and Sentinels, for example. 100T vs. SEN happened during the second-to-last weekend in March across two titles.
We saw the "clout orgs" do battle in VCT Americas Stage 1 of VALORANT and in the Marvel Rivals NA Invitational. The teams split the series, but it was awesome to see both popular organizations feed into the rivalry.

The 100T vs. SEN series on the weekend crossed two popular titles. Both teams recently entered Marvel Rivals, and have been partnered organizations in VALORANT for years in its VCT Americas league.
The banter is unmatched between the orgs, no matter the esport they are competing in. And we'll have to keep the banter going evenly for a little while longer now, as the two clearly have the game they are favored in.
100T has arguably the best Marvel Rivals roster in the world right now and they have gotten the better of SEN a handful of times. In VALORANT, SEN has dominated the Thieves with only one loss to them since the VCT partnership era began.
Over the weekend, we saw 100 Thieves vs. Sentinels during the playoff stage of the Marvel Rivals Invitational. 100T swept them 3-0, and we were not given a chance at a rematch in the Grand Final as SEN fell to FlyQuest in the Lower Final.
In the final match of the opening weekend for VCT Americas Stage 1, 100T and SEN battled it out across three maps. SEN went up first, 100T retaliated, and then the Sentinels decimated them with a 13:1 finish on Split.
Neither team has the upper hand across the board right now. Expect the 100T vs. SEN rivalry to continue. Will it spill into other esports titles? Honestly, that would be awesome to see, but Marvel Rivals and VALORANT is fine with us for now.
