Kicking off VALORANT 2026 Season, the Ayakashi bundle brings Japanese folklore–inspired skins and exclusive custom audio features.
The Ayakashi bundle opens the doors of Japanese mythology to kick off the VALORANT 2026 season. This new collection puts a modern twist on ancient Japanese folklore, drawing inspiration from supernatural monsters and eerie entities found in classic horror tales.
Ayakashi bundle
Who better than the only Japanese agent to introduce the Ayakashi collection? Yoru brings us a sneak peek of the new bundle with dark spiritual energy and, for the first time, two dual short katanas. All the skins come with four variants: default, red, pink, and blue. This bundle does not include a skin for the newest weapon, Bandit.
Here is everything coming in the new Ayakashi bundle:
- Kogitsune (dual short katana melee)
- Phantom
- Ghost
- 1 Gun Buddy
- 1 Player Card
- 1 Spray
The official VALORANT X page has already released the official collection trailer in case you want an in-game look at all the weapon skins.
What's new?
The Ayakashi dual short katana melee is a first time in this VALORANT rodeo. Aside from its new archetype, it also has a set of new animations: Equip, Attacks, Idle, Run, and Inspect. All of them have musical instruments.
As for the weapons, each firing audio has different notes for each bullet, allowing the player to create a unique melody while firing. It is custom firing VFX muzzleflash.
Custom animations
- Custom equip animations on the Ghost and Phantom gun materialize from the smoke form
- Custom reload animation -- the gun turns to smoke form and re-materializes when the magazine is re-inserted
- Custom inspect showcases music (Japanese-influenced trap beat) and VFX
Reactive visual effects
- Fire VFX on guns that react to directionality (flames move according to player movement)
- Kitsune mask eyes glow, matching flames
Finisher
- The Ayakashi finisher depicts a clash between two worlds, centered on a Kitsune mask and flowing tails, set against a luminous moon with reflections shimmering across the foreground
- Custom kill banner icon with custom audio
