The 2022 VALORANT Champions, LOUD, will take the stage at VCT LOCK//IN two days later than originally anticipated.

The first event of the 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour is almost here. The largest tournament in VCT history will see São Paulo, Brazil host 32 teams in a single elimination bracket. VCT LOCK//IN was scheduled to begin on Feb. 13 with three matches, but LOUD vs. Gen.G is being moved to Feb. 15 due to sickness overwhelming a few players on the former team.

Reigning VALORANT world champions, LOUD, has their VCT LOCK//IN debut rescheduled

LOUD is fresh off a victory at Champions 2022, albeit with a new-look roster. Two of their stars jumped ship to Sentinels as rosters everywhere were drastically shaken due to the announcement of partnered VCT teams. Still, a solid core remains ready to defend not just their title, but their home turf.

With the opening 2023 tournament taking place in Brazil, fans from the region were set to see the Americas league powerhouse square up against the best VALORANT teams in the world. That's going to have to wait.

Per an official announcement on the VALORANT Esports Twitter account:

"Due to sickness among multiple players, LOUD will not be able to field a full roster for their previously scheduled VCT LOCK//IN opening day match on Monday, February 13."

Thankfully, VALORANT fanatics won't have to wait too long to see LOUD perform at VCT LOCK//IN. Their match up takes place two days later, on Feb. 15.

The announcement delivered by the VALORANT Esports Twitter account also went into detail regarding the new schedule. Feb. 13 will no longer be a three-match day. Instead, only KOI vs. NRG and Detonation FocusMe vs. Giants Gaming will take place.

With LOUD'S VCT LOCK//IN debut adjusted to Feb. 15, the match with Gen.G has been tacked on to the day we'll see Team Heretics vs. Evil Geniuses and MIBR vs. Talon Esports. That gives Brazilian VALORANT fans a double dose between LOUD and MIBR.
