The VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2023 takes place in Brazil from November 28 until December 3. On December 3, the Grand Final will happen in a best-of-five series. Prior to that, Riot Games has a special reveal.

It is confirmed that a new VALORANT Team Deathmatch map is on its way. A preview is scheduled to be shown just before the Grand Final series kicks off. Much like in the past, this could mean a showmatch will provide a deeper first look at the map.

Nothing else is known about the map at this time. If it follows suit with the current VALORANT Team Deathmatch maps, it could be very similar to maps in the game's main mode. Each one resembles a piece of an existing map, but formed around the TDM mode's particular play style.

Team Deathmatch works in VALORANT just as it does most games. You and your team battle another team to see who can reach the 100 kill threshold first. It is divided into stages, with each new stage allowing for more powerful weapon usage.

There are currently three Team Deathmatch maps, with a new one marking the first since the mode was added to the FPS:

  • District
  • Kasbah
  • Piazza

Respectively, their map origins are Split, Bind, and Ascent. That leaves several other maps to theme a new one around. TDM became immediately popular and players have to be looking forward to the first addition to the mode since its inception.
