VALORANT patch notes 11.04
Manila server is coming!
Riot Games has announced the launch of a new Asia-Pacific server in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. This new server aims to provide players with improved connectivity and a better gaming experience.
Riot has reported that the Southeast Asian gaming community has experienced significant growth over the past five years, especially in the Philippines. This growth prompted the decision to establish a new server specifically for this region. Previously, most Filipino players were using the Hong Kong server. However, this created some infrastructure limitations that negatively impacted the quality of the gaming experience.
Keep in mind that this is a new server, allowing you to continue playing on other servers as you wish. Regarding the matchmaking quality in Hong Kong, Riot has assured that the server is "expected to remain resilient."
Gifting esports store
The Gifting feature arrived to the game in May, but it was not available for the esports teams' store. Now, you can gift a friend your team's bundle! This is no better way to show support for your favorite team than gifting their bundle to your duo.
Agents updates
Phoenix's voice lines were updated and added interaction lines with Vyse. If you are a lore fan, you might want to take a look and see if you can find some new information. As for the agents, Chamber and Sage are getting important buffs this VALORANT patch notes 11.04.
Chamber
As time passed, Chamber became overshadowed by other significant sentinels and faced multiple nerfs, which led to his decreased popularity. Now, Riot Games aims to revitalize him by enhancing his impact.
- Trademark: Range restriction has been removed. We’re giving a little bit more strategic and positional flexibility for Chamber, as his trap hasn’t felt like it warrants a range restriction in modern VALORANT.
Sage
Riot aims to make Sage a hybrid Controller-Sentinel instead of a pure Sentinel. With these changes, Sage will have greater control over map space and facilitate better plays from secure positions.
- Barrier Orb: Sage wall cast range has increased from 10m >>> 15m
- Resurrection: Sage resurrection range has increased from 6m >>> 12m
