This is the first year that China will see a different League for its region in the VCT. The VCT China Kickoff is the first VALORANT Champions Tour event featuring Chinese teams and is bound to add to the excitement and diversity in VALORANT. This is the first time China will have its own league in the VALORANT Champions Tour. The tournament will have eleven teams, including the two teams that were a part of VCT Champs 2023. VALORANT released in China in July last year bringing millions of players access to Riot's FPS title.
