World of Warcraft Midnight gameplay trailer

Here is the official gameplay trailer for World of Warcraft Midnight. The trailer arrived shortly after the expansion's cinematic debut that happened live at gamescom 2025. In it, Xal'atath mocks those who cling to the fading Light. However, not all hope is lost. Despite how the Shadow is closing in and hungers to devour everything in its wake, Lady Liadrin inspires and says that everyone's homes, kins, and hopes cannot succumb to fear.

World of Warcraft Midnight zones

As the two characters continue to narrate, their voice lines align with several World of Warcraft Midnight features. These include an updated Eversong Woods in Quel'Thalas alongside the new Zul'Aman, Harandar, and Voidstorm zones.

Haranir in WoW Midnight

There's also the Haranir as a new allied race, Devourer Demon Hunter spec, housing in World of Warcraft, and more. Below are previews of the Haranir. The Haranir are a reclusive and enigmatic people who live in Harandar. Their homes, and tools are created with roots, glowing mushrooms, stone, and living bark. This new allied race also has a deep connection to the earth.

According to Blizzard Entertainment, Folks can create and play as Haranir in either the Horde or Alliance as well, and the available classes include Druid, Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Mage, Warlock, Monk, and Shaman.

World of Warcraft Midnight features

In terms of what else to expect in World of Warcraft Midnight, there's a new expansion hub located in the rebuilt Silvermoon City. This area includes Sanctum of Light and Memorial Garden.

Meanwhile, the opt-in prey system is based in Murder Row of Silvermoon City and gives players the challenge of tracking powerful targets across Azeroth. As for player-versus-player (PvP) content, the Voidstorm zone is the hotspot for Slayer's Rise and the Training Grounds.

World of Warcraft Midnight raids, dungeons, and more

For those who enjoy raiding, there's March on Quel'Danas, The Voidspire, and The Dreamrift to check out. World of Warcraft Midnight also gets eight new dungeons, which include Windrunner Spire, Magister’s Terrace, Murder Row, the Den of Nalorakk, Maisara Caverns, the Blinding Vale, Nexus-Point Xenas, and the Voidscar Arena.

New Delves challenges in The Shadow Enclave, Collegiate Calamity, Parhelion Plaza, The Darkway, Twilight Crypts, Atal’Aman, The Grudge Pit, The Gulf of Memory, Sunkiller Sanctum, Shadowguard Point, and Torment’s Rise, meanwhile, can be done with Valeera Sanguinar!
