Wuthering Waves are treating players to a couple of interesting events. The drop rates for WuWa Jiyan and his weapon Verdant Summit are increased until Nov. 13. These Convene events are part of Version 1.3 Phase 2, and they also include a new Resonator. Everything you need to know is here: the details of the characters and how to obtain them.
Prevail the Lasting Night: A Resonator Convene event in WuWa
Traditionally, the game features a Resonator Convene event with an increased drop rate for certain characters. This time, we have an opportunity to obtain Jiyan, a 5-star Resonator.
- Prevail the Lasting Night is active from Oct. 24 to Nov 13.
- Three 4-star Resonators are also available during this character banner. They are Youhu, Sanhua, and Mortefi.
- To take this chance, you need to activate the Convene function. Do it after completing the First Resonance combat trial or after reaching Union Level 8.
Wuthering Waves Jiyan will be available as a drop only during this event. An official post on social media stated that after Prevail the Lasting Night is over, Jiyan will not be obtainable by other means.
Youhu is a new WuWa character. She is part of the Wuthering Waves 1.3 Resonator banners. Youhu was first announced alongside the 5-star Resonator Shorekeeper.
Absolute Pulsation: A Weapon Convene event
Don’t risk your precious WuWa Resonators! Don’t take them to tough game battles without proper weapons. Get the 5-star sword Verdant Summit — specifically for Jiyan during this Convene event.
- The drop rate for Verdant Summit is boosted during the Absolute Pulsation Weapon Convene event in WuWa from Oct. 24 to Nov 13.
- The eligibility requirements are the same as for Jiyan: the Convene function should be activated.
- You also can get these 4-star weapons during this banner: Celestial Spiral, Variation, and Helios Cleaver.
While Verdant Summit is the best Wuthering Waves weapon for Jiyan, Celestial Spiral was made for Youhu. This 4-star weapon is new to the game, and it was introduced with WuWa 1.3.
How to get Jiyan and Verdant Summit in Wuthering Waves
To participate in this event, you need to spend two types of WuWa Tides.
- Radiant Tides are needed to pull a character from the Resonator Convene.
- Forging Tides bring you a weapon from a time-limited Weapon Convene.
Both Jiyan and Verdant Summit have the highest rarity rank, 5 stars, so you may need quite a few attempts to pull them and get them to your Wuthering Waves roster and inventory. The game increases a drop chance for 5-star Resonators after 80 pulls, but it’s still not a guaranteed character — the chance increases to 50%.

Jiyan in Wuthering Waves
Jiyan is a 5-star Resonator. His weapon is Broadblade. His element is Aero. The voice actor for this WuWa character is Alex Jordan.
The game community rates Jiyan highly. He is great at dealing damage, and his combos are easy to execute. When Jiyan accumulates enough special energy (the Energy Regen gauge), he can enter his Qingloong Mode and become an even mightier warrior. You should consider Feilian Beringal as the main Echo for WuWa Jiyan, as it enhances his main strength, which is damage dealing.
Verdant Summit is hands down the best weapon for Jiyan. It adds 12.8% of effectiveness to Energy Regen and 24% of the Heavy Attack DMG bonus.
Youhu in Wuthering Waves
Youhu is a 4-star Resonator. The character battles with Gauntlets. Her element is Glacio.
In Wuthering Waves, Youhu is a pretty unique character. Her kit features the Quick Time Event (QTE) mechanic that makes you pull an Antique out of Youhu’s bag. It affects how you play this Resonator.
The Antiques enhance the basic attack of Youhu, adding various effects to it. There are four Antiques.
- Chime — It decreases Vibration Strength of a victim.
- Ding — The victim is forced out of their stance.
- Mask — Opponents are pulled close to the Mask that is thrown on the battlefield.
- Ruyi — This Antique increases the damage.
Youhu’s Skill is important for the whole team, as it heals other characters. To play Youhu effectively in Wuthering Waves, you should use her as an addition to your main damage dealer and rotate your team during battles. You can check out the official WuWa Youhu guide here.
The new WuWa weapon Celestial Spiral is the best for Youhu. It gives 6 Resonance Energy after casting the Skill. It also increases the ATK stats.
