New information about upcoming Resonators have dropped for Wuthering Waves 1.2!
Kuro Games has been immensely active with updates and new additions in its hit RPG, Wuthering Waves. The 1.1 update sees new characters, Jinhsi and Changli, enter with their own exclusive banners (aka Convenes). Now we are already getting peaks into the next banners that'll come in Wuthering Waves 1.2 - with new Resonators Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao. More info below!
Wuthering Waves 1.2 will introduce two new Resonators and banners
The next banners that will come in Wuthering Waves 1.2 will feature one female Resonator, Zhezhi, and one male Resonator, Xiangli Yao. Both will be 5-star characters featured in the next banners, set to launch during the Wuthering Waves 1.2 update.
*At the time of writing, there is no official information regarding their elements, skills, and role.
Zhezi - Wuthering Waves 1.2
The first upcoming Resonator confirmed is Zhezi. She opts round glasses that subtly hides her eyes which emit soft pink and blue glows. Her dark brown hair also has beautiful pink and blue highlights. Some speculate that Zhezhi will be a Havoc element Resonator due to the pink hue.
Kuro Games describes her as shy and not very expressive. But she has a deep love for painting and is dedicated to her passion in art. It is also worth to note that her name means "the art of paper folding" in Chinese (also popularized as Origami in Japanese) , which aligns with her artistic passion.
It is likely that Zhezhi's skills will utilize her prowess in art - using splashes of colors, and maybe even origami.

Xiangli Yao - Wuthering Waves 1.2
A lot of Wuthering Waves players are excited to pull for a male Resonator and Xiangli Yao seems like the perfect character to choose. Xiangli Yao has light brown to white hair and is designed with modern, robotic attire. He first appeared at the Huaxu Academy in Jinzhou next to Mortefi, during one of the early quests.
Before even officially announced, Xiangli Yao already attracted attention from players. A reason is due to his incredible design that rocks a robotic arm. Another is because he massively resembles Lee-Hyperreal - a character from Kuro Game's previous title, Punishing: Gray Raven.
It is now confirmed that Xiangli Yao is an upcoming Resonator for the next banner in Wuthering Waves 1.2. He is the Principal Investigator whose expertise lies in the research of Automata Mechanics. With his half-cyborg appearance, it is likely that Xiangli Yao's skills will feature a futuristic and technological theme.
