With the most recent versions of WuWa, the developers go above and beyond to create exquisite character designs. The community absolutely loves the new 5-star Resonators Kuro Games introduces to the game.
Wuthering Waves 2.3 banners brought us Zani and Ciaccona. The girls are pretty different, but both play valuable roles in WuWa teams.
As for Wuthering Waves 2.4 banners, players are stunned by Cartethyia and Lupa. Their appearance and their focus on combat are flawless.
Cartethyia in Wuthering Waves
The first drip marketing of WuWa 2.4 revealed Cartethyia. She holds a mix of mystic strengths within her, and this helps Cartethyia make her way into the uncertainty of the future. The girl is nicely armed to face all the dangers that lie ahead.

The developers further strengthen one specific Element with the addition of Cartethyia with Wuthering Waves. The girl joins the same group as the latest 5-star Resonator, Ciaccona from WuWa 2.3. However, Cartethyia’s weapon is very different.
- Element (attribute): Cartethyia is a 5-star Aero Resonator.
- Weapon: Sword
Other known details on Cartethyia in WuWa 2.4 leave players deeply intrigued. It is said that this Resonator can control the ocean and the storm.
Lupa in Wuthering Waves
This character focuses on what she sees in front of her: the battle and victory. In a way, Lupa has a very healthy approach to life, as this Wuthering Waves character tries to enjoy every single moment but still move towards her bigger goals.

Wuthering Waves 2.4 banners: Release date
WuWa version 2.3 started earlier than usual in the game’s banner schedule, as this version features the 1st Anniversary celebration. After it, Wuthering Waves returns to the standard cycles of updates.
Cartethyia is apparently the first Resonator of WuWa 2.4 banners. The release date is June 11, right after the end of WuWa 2.3.
Lupa should be the Resonator featured in the second phase. Considering how long one phase in Wuthering Waves usually takes, we expect her release date to be the first half of July, close to July 3–5.
A traditional WuWa special broadcast program will reveal more information about Lupa, Cartethyia, and Version 2.4 in general.
