Raidiant announces women’s esports program in partnership with Twitch

Featuring games like Fortnite and more, the new Raidiant Challenger Circuit is aiming to give women a voice in esports.

Opportunities for women in esports surged today as Raidiant announces a groundbreaking series of new events known as the Raidiant Challenger Circuit (RCC). Raidiant is the women’s esports and gaming broadcast platform of New Meta Entertainment, Inc. and this new tournament circuit looks to promote women's tournaments across five major esports titles.

Here is everything you need to know about the Raidiant Challenger Circuit:

Raidiant's year-long program will bring competition across five major gaming titles. From FPS games to MOBAs and Battle Royales, players will be able to showcase their skills in multiple different titles.

Here are the five games being featured in Raidiant's year-long women's esports program:

  • Fortnite
  • League of Legends
  • Overwatch
  • Rocket League
  • VALORANT

“As we continue to demonstrate that there’s a substantial appetite for more women’s esports programming,” said Heather Garozzo, head of raidiant. “I look forward to expanding upon our events, and working with even more brands to support the community, and provide opportunities for the thousands of women participants, talent, producers, and gaming professionals who make all of this possible.”

Dates of future Raidiant Challenger Circuit events:

  • April 21-23, 2023
  • July 7-9, 2023
  • November 17-19, 2023
  • January 19-21, 2023

Raidiant Challenger Circuit partners with Twitch

Additionally, Raidiant announced a co-sales agreement with Twitch, the popular streaming website. This agreement allows Twitch to create partnerships with some of the largest brands in gaming. This effort will help promote Raidiant Challenger Circuit events and create a unified community for the esports program.

"We are thrilled to be part of the Raidiant Challenger Circuit," said Lou Garate, global head of sponsorship sales at Twitch. "Our goal with this program is to amplify the amazing work that Raidiant continues to do to provide a platform for women in gaming to compete at the highest level and inspire the next generation of women in esports."

As esports only continues to grow, proper women's representation is needed. Raidiant is a champion for increased opportunities and visibility for women gamers, and the Raidiant Challenger Circuit is another important step forward in supporting and empowering women in esports.

Raidiant has led the way the likes of the Psyonix’s Ally Women’s Open, Blizzard’s Calling All Heroes Challengers Cup, and now, the Radiant Challengers Circuit.
