Here’s everything you need to know from the world of Teamfight Tactics with this worldwide recap of the competitive scene from this past weekend!

Teamfight Tactics competition across the globe continues to heat up ahead of the Monsters Attack! Championship, which is the TFT Set 8 World Championship. North America and China hosted their final tournaments to decide the last few competitors in their respective regional finals. Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Japan were held for Monsters Attack! Championship and Eastern Last Chance Qualifier slots. Here's the recap of what happened in those tournaments around the world this past weekend.

Region recap: North America (NA)

Tournament: Last Chance Qualifier

North America held its Last Chance Qualifier to determine the final two players at the Monsters Attack! NA Regional Finals.

  • 1st Place: Eunwilf (Qualified to Monsters Attack! NA Regional Finals)
  • 2nd Place: Robivankenob (Qualified to Monsters Attack! NA Regional Finals)

With the conclusion of the North American Last Chance Qualifier, the list of competitors for the North American Regional Finals is now set. They will be fighting for three remaining North American slots at the Monsters Attack! Championship.

The North American Regional Finals will begin on May 12.

Region recap: China (CN)

Tournament: TFT Open Championship 5 Last Chance Qualifier (TOC5 LCQ)

China held its Last Chance Qualifier to determine the final four players in their TOC5 Regional Finals.

  • 1st Place: Godlike (Qualified to TOC5 Regional Finals)
  • 2nd Place: 60second (Qualified to TOC5 Regional Finals)
  • 3rd Place: YiFang (Qualified to TOC5 Regional Finals)
  • 4th Place: Lightygo (Qualified to TOC5 Regional Finals)

A previous article mentioned that 60second qualified to TFT TOC5 Regional Finals. The source has since been updated for more accurate information. Second through fourth place of the Douyu Finals and Huya Finals qualified to the TOC5 Last Chance Qualifier and not the Regional Finals. However, Honglian, LiuLi, and AChen qualified to the TOC5 Regional Finals through the Super Server Ladder ranking and did not need to play in the Last Chance Qualifier.

With the conclusion of the TOC5 Regional Last Chance Qualifier, the list of competitors for the TOC5 Regional Finals is now set. High seeding means direct qualification to the top 16, as normal seeds will have to fight for the remaining eight spots in the semifinals. They will be fighting for China's five slots at the Monsters Attack! Championship.

The TOC5 Regional Finals will kick off on May 6.

Region recap: Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA)

Tournament: EMEA Superbrawl

Teamfight Tactics EMEA Rising Legends hosted a tournament called Superbrawl which pitted all the tournament circuits of the region against each other. Although there were no Regional Finals implications on the line, the battle for pride was not taken lightly. This event included Poland, Germany, Italy, Northern Europe, Eastern Europe, Turkey, Spain, and more. In the finals this past weekend, France's Vomendeth, Voltariux, PasDeBol, and Texita came out on top!

With the recent conclusion of EMEA ladder snapshots, the list of players at the EMEA Regional Finals is now set. They will be fighting for EMEA's four slots at the Monsters Attack! Championship.

The EMEA Regional Finals will start on May 12.

Region recap: Southeast Asia (SEA)

Tournament: SEA Regional Cup

SEA hosted Regional Cup #2 to determine three players automatically qualifying to the Monsters Attack! Championship and two more to the Eastern Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).

  • 1st Place: JazLatte (Taiwan) (Qualified to Monsters Attack! Championship)
  • 2nd Place: Omnomsy (Singapore) (Qualified to Monsters Attack! Championship)
  • 3rd Place: NCC1 (Vietnam) (Qualified to Monsters Attack! Championship)
  • 4th Place: SVM YBY1 (Vietnam) (Qualified to Eastern LCQ)
  • 5th Place: GF Giv3Me (Vietnam) (Qualified to Eastern LCQ)

The Eastern LCQ will begin on May 20.

Region recap: Latin America (LATAM)

Tournament: LATAM Play-ins

Latin America held their Play-in tournament to determine who would qualify to the LATAM Playoffs. The top four players from that event will play in the LATAM Regional Finals for three spots at the Monsters Attack! Championship.

The LATAM Playoffs will begin on May 5.

Region recap: Oceania (OCE)

Tournament: OCE Regional Last Chance Qualifier

OCE held its Last Chance Qualifier to determine four more players at the Underground Cup. The Underground Cup will send four players to the Monsters Attack! East Asia Finals. One OCE representative from there will then play in the Eastern Last Chance Qualifier. Finally, the top player from the Eastern Last Chance Qualifier will qualify to the Monsters Attack! Championship.

  • 1st Place: calze6 (Qualified to OCE Underground Cup)
  • 2nd Place: Lxaldin (Qualified to OCE Underground Cup)
  • 3rd Place: y4llowo (Qualified to OCE Underground Cup)
  • 4th Place: Rané (Qualified to OCE Underground Cup)

The OCE Underground Cup will start on May 6.

Region recap: Japan (JP)

East Asian Finals: Japan Qualifier

Japan hosted their part of the East Asian Finals Qualifier to determine four players going to the East Asian Finals. The top Japanese player from the East Asian Finals will compete at the Eastern Last Chance Qualifier on May 20.

  • 2nd Place: Laxua (Qualified to East Asian Finals)
  • 3rd Place: 0m0chi (Qualified to East Asian Finals)
  • 4th Place: shimapen (Qualified to East Asian Finals)
