100T in-game leader, stellar, had nothing but positive things to say about China becoming a part of the VCT after his game against EDG.

The final match of the Omega Bracket's second day at VCT LOCK//IN saw a back and forth battle between EDward Gaming and 100 Thieves. The Americas League team pulled out the win, but it was not an easy feat. They can thank the great calling by 100T's IGL, Brenden "stellar" McGrath.

100T made it out alive after winning the third map in overtime and sent EDG packing. Though EDG should hold their heads high after a strong performance. It is clear they made an impression on VALORANT fans that are perhaps not familiar with the talent coming out of China.

EDG put up quite the fight against 100T as one of two representatives from China at the event. The close series happened on the same day that Riot Games announced two slots for China at Masters Tokyo. So naturally, we wanted to know what stellar thinks of the region's inclusion in the VCT after facing it head-on.

He had this to say in the post-match press conference after squeezing out the victory:

"I think that China's inclusion is a really good thing for the scene. They rightfully should be included. They have two really good teams that were here. EDG just gave us one of the best matches that we've played in a long time. FPX had a really good match as well, early on against Karmine Corp. Just based on player base, or potential player base, I think they 100 percent deserve a spot in VCT."

If just a few plays went differently, EDward Gaming would have advanced further at VCT LOCK//IN instead. That would have knocked out 100T and stellar, who are early favorites to win it all among the community.

Regardless of the outcome, China was represented well at VCT LOCK//IN and will continue to appear in the VALORANT Champions Tour. The region may very well become the fourth international league, per the Global Head of VALORANT Esports. It might just be a matter of time before they takeover.
