Our Elden Ring Nightreign release time countdown article details when you can start playing FromSoftware’s upcoming title! While its initial reveal was shrouded in much skepticism, Nightreign seems to have garnered a potential fan base over time, climbing up the Steam Chart and becoming one of the most anticipated game releases of May 2025

From has continued to fuel fans’ excitement for its unique title by releasing snippets of gameplay of all playable classes in Elden Ring: Nightreign. Fortunately, you don’t have to wait too long to dive into Limveld, try out one of its predefined Nightfarers, and defeat vicious bosses solo or with other players.

  • May 30 – 12 p.m. NZDT

The aforementioned Elden Ring Nightreign PC unlock times are purely speculation based on Elden Ring’s launch timings.

Given that it’s FromSoftware’s first multiplayer-only title, you could expect network congestion at launch. The studio recently held an Elden Ring Nightreign network test which was plagued with numerous connectivity and server issues, so much so that the studio had to offer an apology.

Some players couldn’t get into the test at all, while others, like us, could only play for a few minutes over the three-day session. Surprisingly, FromSoftware didn’t extend the network test, which caused even more disappointment among its most enthusiastic fans.
