Overwatch 2 Battle of the Beast explained

The Battle of the Beast game mode involves teams of four duking it out against each other in New Junk City. Your team's goal is to defeat the opposing giant Orisa while also watching out for the enemy players.

How to win in Overwatch 2 Battle of the Beast

Once you're in the arena, your team must battle or keep an eye on the enemy players while also attacking their giant Orisa. Much like a regular Orisa, she can also use her Augmented Fusion Driver, Energy Javelin, and Fortify abilities alongside her Terra Surge ultimate.

This means when Orisa uses Fortify, she gains temporary health, becomes unstoppable, and reduces her damage taken. If you happen to be in her line of fire, then Orisa also aims her Energy Javelin at you and uses Augmented Fusion Driver.

If you see and hear the enemy Orisa using her ultimate, then it's time to get out of there. She sweeps you closer to her before anchoring down to deal damage. Use your chosen hero's abilities to get away. For example, Soldier: 76 can Sprint, Mauga can activate Overrun, Moira can Fade, and Mercy can fly towards an ally.

During the battle, you must also coordinate with your team and capture a point. This objective grants your team's giant Orisa a health bonus. After capturing the point, the floating orb flies across the map. You can use this as a guide to get back to the Orisa arena.

The team that gets the opposing Orisa's health down to zero first wins the Overwatch 2 Battle of the Beast match.
