This is not the first launch of Apex Mobile, as the game had limited regional launches in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Mexico and Argentina. However, this is the first time it will be available worldwide, and it comes with a brand new mobile-first legend Fade.

According to EA these are the release times:

  • West Coast USA - 2am PDT
  • East Coast USA - 5am ET
  • Brazil - 6am BRT
  • U.K - 5am BST
  • India - 2:30pm IST
  • South Africa: 11am SAST
  • Australia: 10am AEST
  • Japan: 1pm JST

Requirements:

Android Devices

  • Android 8.1 or newer
  • OpenGL 3.0 or higher
  • 3GB Storage Space
  • At Least 3GB RAM
  • N/L/XL Screen Size

iOS Devices

  • iPhone 6s or higher
  • OS Version: 10 or newer
  • CPU: A9
  • 3GB Storage Space
  • At least 2GB RAM

Based on feedback from the limited launch, it looks like most players running mid-range mobile devices are able to play the game smoothly.

Is Apex Mobile crossplay?

No Apex Legends Mobile does not feature crossplay. You will not be able to play with friends on other versions of the game (PC, PS4, PS5, XBOX, Nintendo Switch). Also given that Apex Legends Mobile will differ in content to the traditional version, it is unlikely they will allow crossplay in the future.

What else is new in Apex Mobile?

EA has promised "mobile-first adaptions and innovations", which they have stated will include more new legends - such as Fade - new maps, new gameplay and new LTM events. Mobile gaming has been on the rise for the last five years, and Apex Legends is about to join the party.
