A dominant win from the reigning ALGS Champions, NAVI.
NAVI, reigning ALGS Champions, strolled to an easy win in the second round of the EMEA Pro League. They dominated from start to finish, winning the majority of the days games and looking virtually untouchable across the six matches. Their final total of 101 points was nearly double the second placed team.
This win is a huge statement by NAVI, who took the title in Sapporo under the organisation GoNext. The underdog champions are stating loud and clear that the result wasn't a fluke and that they are a force to be reckoned with in EMEA.
Here's what went down.
NAVI post a triple digit ALGS win
This wasn't just an ALGS Pro league win from NAVI, it was a statement. Hiarka, Uxako and Izidan put in one of the strongest six-match performances the region has ever seen. Right from the first game they looked to be on top form. They maneuvered themselves magnificently to find themselves in control of the high-ground in the final circle.

From there they were able to dispatch EXO Clan, despite some great individual P2020 work from KSWINNIE who also had a Kraber to use as well. That win was impressive in its own right but was just a sign of things to come.
NAVI went on to continue their dominance, dropping a further 27 kills in the next two Broken Moon matches. They entered the half time break on 63 points, which meant their win was almost wrapped up without even needing to step foot on Storm Point.
Their huge lead didn't make them complacent on Storm Point though. They continued their dominance, dropping a 17 kill win in the fifth game of the day to pass the 100 point threshold. The last game didn't quite go to plan, with the team dying in 16th. This was their only match that saw them finish outside the top five.

NAVI's huge win is a big statement to the likes of Alliance, Aurora and others in the region. The defending ALGS Champions look a force to be reckoned with and have taken a big step towards both the ALGS Midseason Playoffs and potentially the Pro League title too.

Legend bans shift from previous week
This was the second week of ALGS Legend Bans in EMEA. Interestingly, the Legends banned this week were different from what we saw in the opening weeks action. The bans went as follows:
- Ash
- Newcastle
- Catalyst
- Crypto
- Bangalore
Wraith, Alter and Crypto were the three Legends banned last week not banned this. Some had speculated that a "ban meta" might emerge but at the moment that does not seem to be the case. Teams are still adjusting to the new rules, with several opting to use Legends that maybe aren't likely to be banned. This gives them consistency in their strategy and approach.
