Fortnite Avatar Event Pass explained: Rewards, cost, and more

The Avatar Battle Pass in Fortnite is almost here!

Fortnite is on the precipice of a massive collaboration event with Avatar: The Last Airbender. This crossover marks the latest in a long line of anime IPs to join Fortnite. Considering the fandom behind Avatar: The Last Airbender, it’s a big deal. Although you can now unlock some Avatar characters in-game, the main event arrives via the Fortnite Elements Pass on Friday, April 12.

The Avatar Elements Pass has surfaced via leakers ShiinaBR, andredotuasset, and djlorenzouasse. This article details what you can expect.

Like the TMNT Cowabunga Pass before it, the Avatar Elements Pass works similarly. There is a Free Track for everyone and a Premium Track for players willing to pay 1,000 V-Bucks for extra rewards.

Are you looking to unlock the famous character Aang in Fortnite? You MUST upgrade your Fortnite Elements Pass from the Free to Premium Track. Once you purchase the Premium Track, you will receive the Aang Outfit with the LEGO style.

Besides the Aang skin, the Premium Track in the Elements Pass includes 15 cosmetic items and eight automatic level-ups.

Free vs. Premium Track breakdown

Whether you stick with the Free Track or upgrade to Premium, these cosmetics are unlockable by earning "Elemental Cycle." Completing the Avatar-related Quests will grant you Elemental Cycle throughout the event.

How to get the Appa Glider

The Elements Pass as a Fortnite Glider also includes Avatar’s loyal sky bison Appa. However, you must open six Chakras to unlock this cosmetic item. This task requires you to complete specific Avatar-based challenges. These will be available in the “Quests” tab, and the Appa Glider will unlock automatically once you acquire the six Chakras.

The Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass will begin on Friday, April 12, so be sure to check it out once it’s finally live.
