Here is the countdown to the release date and time for the SMITE 2 Alpha Weekend 1 event. It runs between May 2 and May 4. The servers open on Thursday, May 2 at 5 p.m. PDT and close on Saturday, May 4 at 7 p.m PDT.

All of the patch notes for the SMITE 2 Alpha can be found in the official playtest blog. There are a plethora of updates in terms of gameplay, the SMITE 2 combat system, Conquest, items, and the gods themselves. According to the developers, the goal of SMITE 2's gods is to make each one of them unique in terms of their abilities. Meanwhile, base stats, items, and more aim to support role flexibility. 






What to expect in SMITE 2 Alpha Week 1



As for what to expect in the inaugural weekend, players can look forward to the Conquest game mode. This is a five-versus-five, three-lane mode. In addition to the 14 available gods, SMITE 2 Alpha Week 1 also

Stellar Blade 2? EVE's journey does not end



The big clue for Stellar Blade 2 is at the end of the credits. You can't skip them the first time around, but you can hold down one of the PlayStation controller buttons to speed them up. Then when you reach the end, the screen goes black for a moment before a message appears.

In blue font much like the title on the game's opening menu, it reads, "Her journey does not end." It is very similar to the end of credits during some Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. You see messages like "Thor will return in The Avengers."

If that doesn't signal an upcoming Stellar Blade 2, then what does? A message like that most certainly conveys a sequel on the horizon. In any case, the success of the game should warrant one whether they teased it or not.



What does this mean with multiple endings?



Now is the question of what ending a Stellar Blade 2 would follow. If you aren't aware, there are three, which you'll need that same amount of playthroughs to see them all. Which of them is the canon ending, though?

Take a game like Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic. All of the choices you make in KOTOR determine if you are a Light or Dark-side Jedi. The ending option you select reflects that choice, but isn't necessarily the canon choice.

The Finals has introduced its second 5v5 game mode. This time, it shifts more towards a traditional FPS objective. Terminal Attack is the name, and with it comes a new event in The Finals that has contracts to complete and rewards to earn.






Terminal Attack is a round-based mode with no healing and no revives. With just one life, the attacking team needs to take over a terminal and hold it while they upload. The defending team, of course, must prevent that.

The event itself is pretty straightforward. You just need to play Terminal Attack in The Finals to work your way towards several in-game items. 



In terms of the game's, the CNS has continued their attack on the contest. They hacked it at the start of Season 2 and now this is their own game mode addition.

This Terminal Attack Event is one of the longer ones we've seen in The Finals. Typically, players have anywhere between 10-14 days to complete the contracts.



With this one, however, upon release on May 2, players have 20 whole days to unlock everything. It says right in the game when you load in that the Terminal Attack Event in The Finals ends on May 22, 2024.

There are six total contracts to complete, but seven total rewards. Once you finish the entire set of contracts, you get an extra item for total completion. Here all of the contracts and everything you can earn during the Terminal Attack Event in The Finals:

All Helldivers 2 players on Steam will have to create a PlayStation Network (PSN) account to keep playing the game, the publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on May 3.



This reasonably caused quite a stir in the Helldivers 2 community as the game launched in February and Steam players didn't have to create a PSN account until now. However, connecting the Steam and PSN accounts will be a mandatory step for new and current players, so you might as well do it right now.

Open Helldivers 2 on Steam and go to the Settings menu.



Enter your PSD ID and password in the PSN sign-in option.

You'll have to fill in a bunch of details in this next step, including your region, language, date of birthday, username, and password to set up your new account.

Sony has set different rules for new and current Helldivers 2 players. All new players will need to connect their Steam account to a PSN account from May 6 onwards. As for current players, this step will be mandatory from June 4 onwards.



Although there has been some confusion, players are not required to own a PlayStation console to be able to set up a PSN account.

The Black Wave outfit in Stellar Blade is perfect for players looking to give EVE a pirate aesthetic. The costume features a black and red palette, thigh-high stockings, and a pirate logo on EVE's back. However, obtaining the Black Wave outfit is tricky, but this guide explains everything you need to do.



How to get the Black Wave outfit in Stellar Blade







The Black Wave outfit is located in the southeastern area of the Great Desert. Once in this spot, you should see an elevated structure with a moveable object. Move the object to the front left portion of the structure and use it to traverse the different climbable objects.



Once you have reached the furthest spot, turn to your left, and you should see one last platform you can jump and grab onto. It's worth noting that, at this point, you will need to use the double jump to reach the ledge.



After grabbing the ledge, you find a box containing the Black Wave outfit atop the broken structure.

How to unlock the Black Wave outfit in Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade has been a hit since its release, and the marketing for the game has led to many Stellar Blade cosplays of EVE, the game's attractive protagonist. 



Stellar Blade's EVE is at the center of polarizing discourse online, but it's still satisfying to see characters portrayed in the real world. Stellar Blade developers SHIFT UP partnered with cosplayers from different countries to breathe life into EVE. On top of this, the cosplaying community also developed a fascination for the character. Check out Rurusama, Charess, Larissa Rochefort, Josette, Samichuuu, Lee Dahye, and other cosplayers dressed up as EVE. We're patiently waiting for a Tachy cosplay.

The announcement claimed that this change would "protect players" and uphold "safety and security" values. No additional specifics as to how this differed from the current system were provided.

A majority of initial reactions comment on how this change is seemingly not necessary. Helldivers 2 has been out on PC for nearly three months with little to no security issues despite a lack of linked PSNs.



In fact, the main security concern for many players is the game's own nProtect GameGuard anti-cheat system, which commenters on Reddit found to be far too invasive.

According to the announcement, the Overwatch Champions Series will be an open one for players across North America (NA), Europe, Middle East, and North Africa (EMEA), and Asia. There will also be a circuit that will operate under WDG, which is a tournament organizer based in Korea.
