Hearthstone has announced an exciting theorycrafting event that features free card packs! Read on for all of the Whizbang's Workshop theorycrafting event start date, details, plus the instructions on how to get some free Twitch drops!
Hearthstone Whizbang's Workshop theorycrafting event
The Whizbang's Workshop theorycrafting event will be all about duking it out with cards from the new Hearthstone expansion. Dedicated theorycrafting Twitch livestreams will happen on March 13 from 9 a.m. PDT. to 9 p.m. PDT and March 14 from 2 a.m. PDT to 8 p.m. PDT.
According to the official social media post, free Hearthstone card packs will be featured during these livestreams. Card packs will be in celebration of the game's 10th Anniversary Community Day event as well.
Whizbang's Workshop theorycrafting: What to expect
On March 11, Blizzard revealed in a blog post that Twitch drops will be enabled for the Hearthstone category from March 13 at 9 a.m. PDT to March 14 at 9 a.m. PDT. You'll be able to earn up to two Whizbang’s Workshop card packs by watching Hearthstone content.
"In addition to category-wide Twitch Drops, all participating streamers will have Pre-Purchase Mega Bundle codes to give away to their respective audiences during the event," the post stated.
In the past, Blizzard required participants to include 10 or more cards from the new expansion in their decks. These decks featured 10 individual cards, five duplicates, and anything in between. The upcoming theorycrafting event will have these rules as well alongside the option of simply having Splendiferous Whizbang as their deck!
How to get free Whizbang's Workshop card packs
To obtain the free Twitch drops, simply link your Battle.net and Twitch accounts and watch the theorycrafting livestreams between March 13 at 9 a.m. PDT and March 14 at 9 a.m. PDT. You can keep track of each Twitch drop's progress by checking the upper-right corner of the platform's chat area. Don't forget to visit Twitch's inventory page to claim the card packs once the progress bar reaches 100%.
