How to watch the Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 update stream

The developer stream for Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 will take place on April 26 at 8:30 am EST.

Players in the Americas will need to wake up bright and early to watch the stream live, though gamers further east should have no such trouble. Developer previews tend to be around 30 minutes long, though this one could go the distance. It will likely double as a preview stream for the game’s first anniversary

What’s scheduled for the 2.2 reveal?

Hoyoverse has fallen victim to quite a few leaks before the official release of 2.2. Based on unverified but reputed sources, we believe that the 2.2 stream will show off gameplay for two upcoming five-stars in Robin and Boothill.

According to leaks, Robin will be the first Warp of 2.2 with Topaz as the paired rerun. Her drip marketing started before Boothill’s and she’s already a part of the Penacony story. However, we still have no idea which four-star units she will debut with. Expect her backup dancers to finally be revealed in the stream.

Next is Boothill, the Galaxy Ranger set on a collision course with Acheron. The gunslinger is still closely under wraps, with only one official image revealed by Hoyoverse. Leaks indicate that either Fu Xuan or Argenti will escort him into the game with more recent reports indicating the former. As with Robin, the stream will likely confirm his four-star posse.

Lastly, the Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 stream will likely go in-depth on the game’s first anniversary. We already know a bit about the party favors and special game modes, but Hoyoverse has likely saved the best reveals for last. Expect a few surprises during the stream along with a big thank you to all the first-year players.
