Honkai Star Rail leaks: Yunli skills and kit
Note that the Yunli skills and kit below are leaks. This data was not released through official means and should be taken with a grain of salt. Specific scalings are not included as they usually change as the release gets closer.
Yunli has been officially revealed as a 5-star Physical Destruction character, the second after Clara. And, like Clara, Yunli also has a counterattack mechanic baked into her kit.
Yunli leaked kit
Basic ATK - Galespin Summersault (Single Target)
- Deals minor Physical DMG to a single enemy.
Skill - Bladeborn Quake (Blast)
- Yunli restores her own HP and deals minor Physical DMG to a single enemy and its adjacent units.
Ultimate - Earthbind, Etherbreak (Enhance)
- Enter the "Block" state and taunts all enemies. During this period, triggering the Talent's Counter deals massive Physical DMG to the attacker and targets in its adjacency. When "Block" ends, deals Physical DMG on a random enemy target and targets in its adjacency.
Talent - Flashforge (Blast)
- When Yunli is attacked by an enemy target, immediately launches a Counter against the attacker and adjacent targets.
Technique - Posterior Precedence (Enhance)
- Gains the Ward effect for 15 seconds. When entering combat by attacking enemies or receiving an attack, immediately deal damage to a random target, adjacent enemies, and multiple random instances of damage.

Fiery Wheel (requires Character Ascension 2)
- Upon being attacked, Yunli additional regenerates 15 extra Energy.
Demon Quell (requires Character Ascension 4)
- While in the Block state, resists the Crowd Control debuff received and reduces DMG received by 20%.
True Sunder (requires Character Ascension 6)
- When using a Counter, increase Yunli's ATK by 30% for 1 turn.

Weathered Blade Does Not Sully
- DMG from Intuit: Slash and Intuit: Cull increases by 20%, and Intuit: Cull's extra DMG Hits increases by 3.
First Luster Breaks Dawn
- Yunli increases her own CRIT Rate by 18% at the end of the turn, lasting until the beginning of the next turn.
Mastlength Twirls Mountweight
- Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
Artisan's Ironsong
- When Yunli deals DMG via launching a Counter, ignores 20% of the target's DEF.
Blade of Old Outlasts All
- Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Walk in Blade, Talk in Zither
- After using Ultimate, if the next unit to act is an enemy unit, Intuit: Cull will be triggered regardless of whether it is targeting Yunli, and the Block effect provided by the Ultimate will not be dispelled and will last until the end of the next turn. This effect can only be triggered 1 per turn.
Yunli will be live on Honkai Star Rail version 2.4, scheduled for July 31, 2024.
