After months of rumours and player conversations, Damwon Gaming’s 2020 World Championship skins have finally been revealed. Players will not have to wait long to don the colors of their favorite players.
After a dominant 2020 for Damwon Gaming, the reigning League of Legends World Champions and their chosen skins have finally been revealed. Riot for many years has rewarded the world champions with the highest honor, getting their own custom skin. This is a special moment for any player, to have their name cemented in history as one of the world's best players.
Damwon was the most recent side to add their name to the record books, taking down Suning to win the 2020 world championship. Damwon's players got to select whichever champion they wanted for their personal skin.
Damwons champions have been revealed
Earlier today it was announced which champions will be represented in the 2020 skin line. Here is the confirmed champions selected by Damwon Gaming for their 2020 World Championship skin line:
- Nuguri: Kennen
- Canyon: Nidalee
- ShowMaker: Twisted Fate
- Ghost: Jhin
- Beryl: Leona
This is exciting for players who enjoy playing these champions as Kennen,Nidalee,Twisted Fate and Leona all make their first appearances in this skin line. Jhin joins the list of champions who have received more than one World Championship skin. In 2016, SKT T1's Bang selected Jhin to celebrate his second consecutive World Championship victory.
2019 World Champions FPX requested their championship skins receive chromas to match the different jerseys they wore. It is unconfirmed at this time if Damwon Gaming will also request chromas for their skins.
How much will these World Champions skins cost?
The price for Damwons 2020 skins have not been announced. However, if FPX's skins are anything to go by, DWG's skins will set players back 1350 Riot Points. If going all out is more your thing, players should hope Riot also release a Damwon Gaming bundle where players purchase all five skins. If chromas are to be released alongside the skins, players should expect these to cost 290 RP per chroma.
