Evil Geniuses reveals their new roster for VCT 2024

Evil Geniuses completes its 2024 VCT roster, with a near-completely new look after hoisting last year’s VALORANT Champions trophy.

The majority of the 2023 VALORANT world champions moved on, leaving Evil Geniuses without a clear roster for the 2024 VCT. We all wondered when they'd announce the new squad. After rumors persisted and weeks of waiting, we finally have our first look, with some familiar faces.

Evil Geniuses announces VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 starting roster

The announcement rolled out over several videos in a thread on X. They started things off by announcing the return of their world-renowned coach and arguably the best Raze player in VCT Americas. From there, it was all a new look.

Here's everyone you'll see rep the Evil Geniuses banner when VCT 2024 kicks off in February:

  • Alexander "jawgemo" Mor
  • Vincent "Apoth" Le
  • Derrek "Derrek" Ha
  • Nicholas "NaturE" Harrison
  • Phat "supamen" Le
  • Christine "potter" Chi (Coach)

As you can see, potter and jawgemo return. Apoth slots in after being part of the expanded EG roster last year. Derrek arrives after a bit of tumultuous year with 100 Thieves, where things just didn't seem to click during the regular season.

Following him is NaturE, a previous TSM player who was most recently a stand-in for the aforementioned 100 Thieves during Red Bull Home Ground 4. And finally, we have supamen. The ex-Crossfire pro has been hooked on VALORANT since day one, last having played for FaZe Clan.

With jawgemo the only remaining member of the VALORANT Champions 2023 roster, you're probably curious as to where the rest of them went. They all remain within VCT Americas, finding themselves on various partnered teams:

Of course, as they all remain in the VCT Americas league, they'll all play each other at some point across the splits of the season. That means in 2024, we will see former Evil Geniuses players take on the organization that they led to a VCT championship.
