Silvo the Revenant is sort of bugged in Avowed.
The Animancy Method is a side quest you can take on soon after entering the Emerald Stair region in Avowed. The quest involves helping out a local farmer named Elia Rosell in exchange for their help with Giatta's experiments.
As you have likely seen, all the farmers in Emerald Stair use undead revenants as their farmhands with the help of animancy. This has seemingly started to go downhill, as the revenants are beginning to turn on their masters.
In exchange for her help, Elia Rosell requests that you find an Adragan Heart, which is fairly simple, and put down Silvo the Revenant. Silvo is a long-time worker for Elia, but he has started to deteriorate and succumb to the Dreamscourge.
While this task sounds simple enough, Silvo the Revenant can be hard to reach and has the potential to bug out in Avowed.
Putting down Silvo the Revenant in Avowed
Silvo is located in the barn just behind Elia Rosell when you're finished speaking with her. Unfortunately, if you approach the barn, the door is barred and there's seemingly no way to go around the barn to get in from the other side.
Luckily, if you head around to the left side of the barn near the livestock, you can climb up a small ramp and peer into a window that looks directly into the barn.
If you use any sort of ranged weapon, including a gun, bow, or wand, you can kill Silvo the Revenant right from that window. I used an arquebus and delivered a well-placed headshot on Silvo, but use whatever you have in your inventory.
If you don't have a ranged weapon or you want a more direct approach, look on the right side of the barn. You'll find a series of boulders and some plants.
Keep going right along this wall until you find a broken gate. Look to the left and you'll see a small crevice you can crawl through that leads directly into the open side of the barn. Kill Silvo from there and then unbar the front barn door to exit.
Either way you go about it, you can return to Elia and tell her that Silvo has been dealt with. This completes The Animancy Method quest in Avowed if you already found the Adragan Heart. From here, you can return to Giatta in Fior or complete more quests with people with whom you need help from.

Some players have reported that Silvo the Revenant simply isn't there when they enter the barn or look through the small window.
If this has happened to you, there's really nothing you can do aside from reloading a previous save. Preferably, reload a save before you began The Animancy Method quest, which can certainly be a burden.
Hopefully, the developers at Obsidian Entertainment issue a fix for Silvo the Revenant in an upcoming patch. Until then, if Silvo doesn't appear for you, you're going to have to do a little backtracking in Avowed.
