How to find The Blade That Hungers Treasure in Avowed

Every region in Avowed has three treasure maps that you can find and follow for a unique reward. One of the treasure maps in the final region of the game, Galawain's Tusks, is called The Blade That Hungers. You can purchase this treasure map from a vendor named Bulti in Solace Keep, who is located on the top floor of the city.

Once you have the treasure map in hand, you can view it from your quest journal and embark on the journey for an awesome melee weapon. Unfortunately, the treasure map for The Blade That Hungers is incredibly vague, only pointing you to a rocky area near a tower, which doesn't narrow things down in Galawain's Tusks.

To see exactly where The Blade That Hungers treasure is located in Avowed, keep reading the guide below.

For this treasure map, you're going to need to head to the very top of the map in Galawain's Tusks. Go to the northwest of Solace Keep and keep going until you reach the Ash Forest region. From here, ascend further north into the mountains, just west of The Living Archives.

In this area, you can go through a small crevice on the side of a mountain. This is directly near a spider's nest in the Ash Forest. After passing through the crevice, which has plenty of twists and turns, you'll come out on the other side to a gold-glowing chest. The chest contains The Blade That Hungers Treasure, which is the Umbral Needle unique one-handed melee weapon.

The Umbral Needle is a truly awesome weapon in Avowed if your character relies at all on melee combat. It also pairs nicely with a great shield, such as the one that's the reward from the My Loyal Shield treasure, which is also available in Galawain's Tusks.

Either way, once you have the Umbral Needle, The Blade That Hungers treasure is complete in Avowed and you can move on to another quest.
