The M4A1 is one of the strongest weapons in Battlefield 6, and here’s the best loadout for it.

Carbines fall into a strange spot in Battlefield 6, as they aren't a signature class weapon and feature a variety of guns that can be used at close, medium, and long ranges. The M4A1 is the first carbine you unlock, and it's arguably the strongest weapon in the entire class, offering fantastic damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control. Of course, if you want the M4A1 to match up better against assault rifles or light machine guns, you'll need its best overall loadout in Battlefield 6.

Below, we'll go over all of the top attachments you should be using on the M4A1.

Best loadout for the M4A1 in Battlefield 6

The M4A1 is meant to be a close to mid-range weapon in Battlefield 6, as its damage range drops off significantly once you start firing at long-range players. However, with the loadout you'll see below, you can use the M4A1 in just about any way you see fit. The carbine has terrific mobility for close range gunfights, outstanding recoil control across the board, and the ability to kill enemies at 100+ meters, so long as you tap fire and don't shoot in full-auto.

Here's the best M4A1 loadout you can use in Battlefield 6:

  • Muzzle: Double-Port Brake (10)
  • Barrel: 14.5" Carbine Extended (15)
  • Underbarrel: Classic Vertical (35)
  • Magazine: 36 RND (15)
  • Ammunition: Lightweight (10)
  • Ergonomics: Mag Catch (5)
  • Optic: RO-M 1.75x (10)

What you're getting with these attachments is balanced accuracy and mobility with a slight increase to damage range and bullet velocity. We also have a larger magazine equipped for those longer range gunfights, as well as a 1.75x optic to make sure you can take on any gunfight that comes your way.

The loadout can be fiddled with depending on your preferences or needs for certain challenges in Battlefield 6. For example, you can throw on a smaller or larger optic, swap out the muzzle for a Suppressor, or use a laser if you want extra mobility. However, all in all, this loadout gets the job done in any situation that you'll find yourself in, regardless of what you're playing in Battlefield 6.
